P+L’s engagement is an opportunity to build a stronger relationship with our client. We carefully align the assignment outcomes with your requirements and ensure that we jointly monitor progress towards those outcomes.

The typical steps in our engagement are: 

  • We start with a client brief usually in the form of an initial meeting, a written brief or terms of reference.

  • We prepare an initial proposal setting out our plan and approach, with timeframe and cost estimates.

  • We review the scope as the first stage of any assignment where our understanding and other elements of the proposal are refined and the scope is finalised.

  • We construct a governance framework for each assignment. The governance framework will set out client contact points and client oversight and review points. Typically, this will include
          
          •  Scheduled review meetings where progress, risks and issues are discussed with the client
•  A peer review by one of the P+L’s Directors. We ensure that each assignment has
   oversight from a Director.

•  Client review and sign off.  
 
  • We will build in a reporting framework to let the Client know how we are tracking.

  • At the completion of each assignment we will review the outcomes with the Client to ensure your expectations have been met. It is also an opportunity to assess our performance and lessons learnt.
